Conversations Elsewhere

by Tim on July 2, 2010

As an experiment, I’m adding a weekly segment to this blog that shows our conversations elsewhere (a simple list of posts where we have commented).

  • Over on the PEP-NET blog, Simone Gerdesmeier of Berlin, Germany-based Zebralog provides a comparison between AmericaSpeaks’ “Our Budget, Our Economy” project that happened this past weekend and Zebralog’s upcoming Citizen Dialogue 2010. I asked about their strategy for addressing challenges around issue framing, participant briefing materials and funders and received a solid reply from Hans Hagedorn, Zebralog.
  • Interesting post about social media and public engagement that mentions ParticipateDB (which is how it showed up in my feeds). I left a quick thank you.
  • NCDD held another one of their confab calls this week. Both the format and the technology worked out really well and that was totally worth leaving a comment.

I usually try to bookmark these posts on Delicious or post them to Twitter (or both). We’ll see if surfacing some of them here once a week provides useful.
