Thanks, Ruth. We are actively seeking to recruit a small number of pilot projects in order to help us obtain some real-life feedback early on. I will be contacting you via email.

We (Participatory Budgeting Unit in the UK) would be really interested to see this kind of web application. The debates about online PB are raging away here at the moment and it would be good to see what technology can come up with to overcome the barriers to good quality deliberation online.

Thanks, Tiago!

We're in the process of prototyping a web application that can support this kind of process.

I just posted the link on the wall of the Participatory Budgeting Facebook group with the following comment:

"I have not given a lot of thought to the change.gov platform, but from all the suggestions that I have come across with regard to change.gov and how it could be improved, I would say that TIM’s proposed design - despite its apparent triviality - goes one step ahead, taking into account some major aspects for good online deliberation.

In fact, it does greatly resemble the design of some (offline) traditional participatory budgeting initiatives in Brazil and Argentina.

Anyway, an idea worth further development, particularly to those interested in the development of online PBs."
